The Federal Metal Co., Bedford, Ohio, says it has re-designed its Web site to include several new features.
The brass and bronze ingot maker’s site now includes:
• a blog maintained by the company’s technical service team;
• what it calls easy-to-read alloy charts designed to let visitors compare metal properties;
• a People page that includes photos, allowing customers to “put a face to a name” and to e-mail their Federal Metal contact directly; and
• additional information on the company’s lead-free ingots.
“We spoke with many of you to discover what your needs are for a more informative, easier to use site,” says the company’s Peter Nagusky.
