Fairbanks Scales offers highway vehicle scales

New Talon Series scales include the company’s Intalogix technology.

Fairbanks Scales Inc., Kansas City, Missouri, has begun offering its Talon Series highway vehicle scales with Intalogix technology.

Fairbanks says the Talon Series has the longest-lasting construction of any steel deck scales in the industry and consistently provides durable, reliable and accurate performance.

The Talon Series is easy to install and is built to federal bridge standards, says Fairbanks. The open bottom design creates a natural ventilation system while the solid deck design resists deflection and metal fatigue.

Fairbanks says the Talon Series scales’ armored stainless steel load cell cabling is provided for durability and load cells are hermetically sealed to protect from moisture.

The Talon Series truck scales are offered in two capacities: the Talon HV for most applications and the Talon HVX for “extreme volume” weighing. The Talon HV Series Portable Vehicle Scale is constructed with multiple 10-inch and 12-inch structural steel I-beams. The supports help produce an extremely rigid and durable portable weighbridge, according to Fairbanks.

All Talon Series scales come with Fairbanks’ Intalogix Technology. The digital technology, developed by Fairbanks, achieves what the company calls “the highest levels of accuracy, reliability and surge protection on the market.”
