Fairbanks Scales Inc., Kansas City, Missouri, is offering three series of FB Indicators: the FB6001 analog scale instrument, the FB3000 II remote terminal unit and the FB2550 instrument. The vehicle weighing instruments are equipped with functions that help deliver outstanding performance, says the company.
Fairbanks describes the FB6001 analog sScale instrument as a dependable solution for vehicle weighing operation that features three modes of operation: built-in traffic controls, multiple communication ports and transaction export functions. The FB6001, with a stainless steel desktop enclosure, delivers “all necessary features and functions for successful inbound or outbound vehicle weighing,” says Fairbanks.
The FB3000 II remote terminal unit, designed to facilitate driver-assisted weighing, mounts at the scale platform to allow drivers to enter their information without having to exit their vehicles. The FB3000 II RTU features touchscreen operation, multiple card reader and printer options, and a Windows operating system that meets industrial weighing requirements.
The FB2550 Instrument provides functionality and connectivity for truck weighing applications, according to Fairbanks. The FB2550 is designed with an onscreen Internet protocol (IP) camera interface, full color touchscreen display and Ethernet connectivity. It also produces transaction reports via email.
