E-Z Pack Manufacturing, LLC, a manufacturer of refuse truck bodies and parts, has named Greg Podell president and chief executive officer. Podell most recently served as COO at Wastequip, Inc. where he was responsible for steering the organization toward improved production methodologies, product standardization, and financial results, and led an aggressive western U.S. expansion strategy.
"Greg has proven himself to be an effective corporate strategist and a strong leader of people and processes," said James Possehl, E-Z Pack chairman as well as chairman of E-Z Pack's parent company, Republic Financial Corp. "He is well-suited to help E-Z Pack continue to build on its market momentum and reputation for customer-driven innovations."
Prior to Wastequip, Podell spent six years as president of the company's Galbreath subsidiary.
"I am thrilled to be part of an organization with such a rich history of innovation and product leadership," said Podell of his new post at E-Z Pack. "We have a solid, core team in place and the right resources to help us improve on our market position in the refuse truck industry, and to achieve our aggressive customer satisfaction, sales and product goals."
