Extra Space Storage Inc. is partnering with TRI Products to provide electronic waste recycling at 12 locations spread across San Diego, Orange, Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties in Southern California.
"We realize there is a huge need for recycling efforts and we wanted to provide a solution for the local communities that we serve," says Mark Stanke, division vice president for Extra Space Storage.
This is a free service and facilities are open Monday thru Saturday 9:30 AM - 6 PM. The company accepts computers, monitors, printers, motherboards, televisions, UPS, PDAs, networking equipment, scanners, VCR/VCD/DVD players, fax machines, entertainment systems, and phones.
TRI Products, licensed by California, recycles more than 20 million pounds of scrap per year. "We are excited about this new partnership with Extra Space Storage as it helps us increase our footprint across Southern California and provides us additional collection centers," says Charles Li, TRI’s president.
