Exhibitors, speakers and attendees are preparing for the set of June conferences being hosted by the Recycling Today Media Group in
Schedules for the eighth annual Paper Recycling Conference, the second edition of Recycling Today’s Plastics Recycling Conference, and the debut Electronics Recycling Conference reveal a wide ranging field of speakers from throughout
Several hundred attendees and exhibitors are expected to browse the Exhibit Hall, attend the educational sessions and network in settings that will allow attendees of all three conferences to meet and interact with recyclers from the other industry sectors.
New this year is the presence of a keynote speaker offering a wider economic and strategic view. Economist and futurist Don Reynolds will take the podium to offer listeners his view of current economic and political trends and events.
His remarks are structured as a “high-energy presentation [with] rapid fire Q&A and spontaneous humor,” offered with the intent of providing listeners with food for thought concerning long-term economic, demographic and technology trends and how business owners and investors will be affected by such trends.
Reynolds served for more than a decade as the investment advisory board chairman of a $22 billion trust fund. His success in that role earned him an appointment from then-Texas Governor George W. Bush as board chairman of a $120 billion state pension fund.
