The 23rd European Tyre Recycling Conference, scheduled for 16-18 March 2016 in Brussels, offers attendees the opportunity to participate in prearranged meetings with potential business, technology and research partners Friday, 18 March.
Impulse-Brussels, a member of the European Enterprise Network, worked with European Tyre Recycling Association (ETRA), also based in Brussels, to sponsor this matchmaking opportunity during the conference. The meetings provide a postconference follow-up for potential partners to prearrange group meetings to capitalise on tyre recycling opportunities, in four areas—circular economy and urban environment; roads; new materials; and research and development—according to the organisers.
Four roundtables will be featured, each representing one topic, with room for eight to 10 delegates. Each table is co-chaired by a coordinator and a subject matter expert. Each group will cover a list of points to attempt to reach an agreed conclusion.
Following the roundtable discussions, the various groups will have the opportunity to mingle at a cocktail reception.
ETRA says the goal of the discussions is to bring together a diverse group of people interested in progressing the tyre recycling industry, expanding awareness and opportunities for the use of the materials, products and applications in this sector.
