The European Recovered Paper Council has set up a website focusing on paper recovery and recycling in Europe. The site, www.paperrecovery.org., has been designed as part of a monitoring processing, following the launch of the European Declaration on Paper Recovery, unveiled two years ago. The declaration sets a voluntary target for the paper recovery and recycling industry in Europe to achieve a European recycling rate of 56 percent by 2005.
The goal of the web site is to promote paper recovery and recycling across Europe; answer questions on paper recovery and recycling; and ensure consistent and accurate information on paper recovery and recycling.
