The European Commission said it has cleared Scholz AG and Alba AG & Co KG's acquisition of joint control of Elsa GmbH in the German steel sector.
Scholz is active in trading ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal; Alba is in waste management, including steel; and Elsa wholesale and retail trade in scrap, the commission said.
