Susan Hubbard, the founder CEO and chief strategy officer for Eureka Recycling, a St. Paul, Minn.-based nonprofit recycling company, is leaving the company to start a consulting business called Nothing Left to Waste. Hubbard spent ten years with Eureka. The goal of the new consulting group will be to develop programs that highlight zero waste.
“Susan has made innumerable, invaluable contributions to us individually, to Eureka Recycling and to this community,” says Tim Brownell, Eureka Recycling’s CEO. “If you have ever heard her speak, witnessed her work or had the pleasure of working beside her, you know she is remarkable and her commitment to this mission is inspiring. We will deeply miss working with her day to day.”
Despite leaving, Brownell notes that Hubbard will provide consulting work for Eureka during the transition.
Eureka Recycling is expected to finalize its strategic plan for the next ten years in early 2012.
