Environmental Recycling Technologies plc, based in the United Kingdom, has announced that its powder impression moulding (PIM) process, which converts mixed waste plastics into commercially viable products, has received patent approval for its application.
The granted patent is ERT's core patent in the United States for the PIM process, which is a process capable of converting mixed waste plastics into a wide range of commercially viable products.
"The grant of this patent is an important milestone for ENRT, securing our IP in a key geographic market where there is growing interest in our unique plastics recycling process," says Ken Brooks, ERT’s chairman.
