The equipment company Eriez, headquartered in Erie, Pa., has announced it is teaming up with Texas-based The Shredder Co. (TSC) to offer advanced recycling systems to customers in South America, China and the Pacific Rim.
The two companies are jointly working on a number of overseas recycling systems that feature TSC shredders and Eriez magnetic equipment. According to Eriez, by combining both companies’ resources, the two can offer overseas clients state-of-the-art systems with superior sales and service support.
“This is a major advantage when we are working on complex recycling systems overseas,” says Mike Shattuck, Eriez product manager for recycling. The company has 12 manufacturing facilities on six continents.
“The fact that TSC has such an established presence in South America and China as well as other parts of the Pacific Rim helps streamline Eriez/TSC projects,” says Shattuck. “TSC gets a responsive vendor with international presence who will work with them on equipment design and better optimized systems. It’s a win-win situation.”
