Eriez, a designer and manufacturer of magnetic, vibratory and separation equipment, Erie, Pa., has promoted Tom Saccamozzone to project manager-heavy industry. Saccamozzone joined Eriez in October of 2000 as a technical sales representative.
In his new role, Saccamozzone will continue to report to Dan Norrgran, heavy industry market manager. “In the past several years, Tom has been instrumental in the Heavy Industry Division,” says Norrgran. “He has taken on various projects pertaining to processing and equipment systems and has had key involvement in the sales, installation and operation of these systems. This promotion is well deserved.”
According to Eriez, Saccamozzone’s expanded responsibilities will now include projects specifically related to the aggregate and foundry markets, as well as projects for engineering companies. “Tom’s experience and knowledge with large vibratory feeders will help target the growth of these products in key markets,” says Norrgran.
“Despite the difficult economic climate, we are experiencing major growth here at Eriez, particularly in the Heavy Industry markets,” remarks Charlie Ingram, vice president of sales and marketing at the Erie, Pa.-based company. “Tom’s promotion is reflective of the exceptional contributions he has made to help ensure Eriez’ continued growth and success.”
