Two providers of magnetic equipment to the recycling industry—Ohio Magnetics and Eriez—have made announcements pertaining to efforts to expedite the time between equipment orders and deliveries.
Maple Heights, Ohio-based Ohio Magnetics' Super Loadstar magnet stocking program now includes its 67-inch size magnet, joining its 48- and 58-inch sizes of the Super Loadstar magnets that are able to be shipped within five business days.
Ohio Magnetics says its Super Loadstar line is designed with heavy-duty cast case construction for scrap handling and has the highest lifting capacity in the industry, ranging from 2,200 to 4,585 pounds.
“The stocking program allows us to respond faster to customer needs, reducing wait times,” says Kevin Sullivan, Ohio Magnetics’ sales manager. “These magnets deliver a significant performance edge, offering between 220 to 415 pounds more lifting capacity than comparable models on the market. This means our customers can begin using the equipment immediately, lifting more to achieving greater efficiency from Day 1.”
Erie, Pennsylvania-based Eriez has expanded its Quick Ship Program to provide faster turnaround times for customers in North America for some of its most in-demand equipment lines, including magnetic separation, metal detection and vibratory separation equipment used in food processing, packaging, plastics and light manufacturing applications.
While some of its larger components used in downstream auto shredding applications often involve customized installation processes, the Quick Ship Program can help buyers seeking a model that can be quickly put into place.
“When time is critical, the Quick Ship program delivers,” said Bill Dudenhoefer, an Eriez senior product sales specialist. “We’ve strengthened the program to give customers what matters most: shorter lead times, reliable performance and superior quality to keep production moving without interruption.”
Eriez says its Quick Ship Program offers a broad selection of built-for-stock models in standard configurations for rapid assembly and shipment.
“Quick Ship brings together Eriez’ most popular and proven solutions for industries’ toughest processing challenges, from the strongest rare earth magnetic separators and X8 metal detectors to versatile vibratory feeders,” the company says.
