Erema to exhibit at Chinaplas in Shanghai

Equipment supplier will demonstrate its TVEplus technology for heavily printed materials.

Austria-based Erema will exhibit its Intarema 1007 TVEplus with an Erema SW4/104 RTF melt filter 25-28 April 2016 in Shanghai at Chinaplas 2016 at Booth No. W1A41. This company will demonstrate the machine, which has a throughput of 300 to 350 kilograms per hour, processing heavily printed LDPE (low-density polyethylene) materials.

Erema says the special challenges faced in recycling heavily printed materials explain the demand it is seeing for its TVEplus technology. Binding agents and other additives found in the inks, for example, are a problem as they melt at the processing temperatures of the plastic matrix and break down in parts. The company says its TVEplus technology “offers efficient filtration, homogenisation and degassing at the highest level.” The company says high-quality recyclates can be made from full-surface and multiple-layer printed film scraps in a single pass.

In 2015, Erema expanded with the additions of Erema China and Erema North America. "OOO EREMA" was founded in Moscow at the beginning of 2016. In spring 2016 Erema North America will more than double the size of its trial centre in the USA in response to high demand, the company says.

Also, 1 January 2015 saw the founding of Erema’s sister company, PURE LOOP GesmbH, which specialises in recycling clean production scrap.
