Erema to present new RegrindPro and upcycling service at FAKUMA 2015

Austria-based Erema reports it will present its new Intarema RegrindPro plastics recycling system at the FAKUMA 2015 event set for Oct. 13-17, 2015, in Friedrichshafen, Germany.

RegrindPro is described as a specific treatment process able to handle mixed plastic fractions with varying compositions, high bulk density and moisture, and with varying contaminants.

According to Erema, the system produces regrind from thick-walled materials such as packaging, electronics and automotive plastics. The company says the regrind can be used as an alternative to virgin material to produce high quality recycled pellets.

“Recyclers who use recycled pellets from regrind have to be able to rely on their end products having top surface quality,” says Clemens Kitzberger, Erema business development manager post consumer. The company says that thanks to extremely gentle processing and highly efficient filtration, the new system enables the recycling of regrind into application-oriented secondary raw materials.

Additionally, at the FAKUMA event the plastics recycling plant engineering company says it will be presenting a new upcycling service for recycling and compounding with its Corema system.
