Strong demand for PET bottle-to-bottle recycling is benefiting the Austrian company Erema. The strong demand is resulting in the company recording the commissioning of four large-scale Vacurema Prime systems from Erema in Europe over the first six months of this year. The four systems are capable of producing around 50,000 metric tons of melt-filtered, IV-increased and food-contact-approved pellets at facilities in Central and Southeastern Europe.
The Vacurema Prime decontaminates the PET flakes through an integrated batch process.
