Erema Engineering Recycling Maschinen und Anlagen Ges.m.b.H., based in Austria, has introduced ecoSAVE technology for its plastics recycling systems that is designed to further reduce energy costs, according to the company. All of the company’s plastics recycling systems will feature the new technology beginning in 2010.
The company says ecoSAVE is a package of design and process engineering measures that include the use of high-quality energy-saving components, such as high-performance motors.
“For the customer, ecoSAVE means a reduction in production costs and further optimization of energy consumption,” according to a press release from Erema. The company says it also envisions ecoSAVE as “a commitment to environmental protection and a contribution to lowering CO2 emissions.”
