Erema’s new customer center in Ansfelden, Austria, allows customers to run reclaimed plastics on blown film, cast film or injection molding equipment at the same time their sample scrap materials are being reprocessed on any of a variety of Erema recycling systems.
Equipment operating in the center includes the new Corema in-line compounding system.
Tim Hanrahan, CEO of Erema North America, says the company’s investment in downstream equipment allows customers to almost instantly evaluate the performance of their reclaim in a desired application, test the impact of reprocessing adjustments and economically explore new recycling opportunities.
“We are working to help customers reduce any uncertainties in reclaiming plastic waste for use in their specific applications,” he adds.
Erema is based in Ansfelden with U.S. operations in Ipswich, Mass.
