The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) has announced that due to strong demand and support from corporations and individuals, as well as overwhelming request from charities for free computers and laptops, it will open up branches and offer its services in several other Canadian cities.
ERA started in Calgary, Alberta, and due to interest, has added locations in Edmonton, Alberta and Vancouver, British Columbia.
The company is now adding locations in five other Canadian cities: Montreal; Ottawa, Ont.; Barrie, Ont.; Dartmouth, N.S.; and Victoria, B.C.
To accomplish the expansion, ERA has established partnerships with end-of-life recycling companies in these cities. The company says that it will ensure useful and working computers are not destroyed and melted down, but rather reused, and given to the charities and less fortunate.
ERA is a non-profit organization that collects older laptops, computer, servers and electronic for reuse, refurbishing, donation to charities, non-profit organization and less fortunate. ERA is the only non profit organization that donates computers and laptops at absolutely no charge back into the community.
For more information or to donate, visit ERA’s site at www.era.ca.
