EPC to open technology and redeployment center

ITAD provider expands its existing North American operations with new facility in Saint Peters, Missouri.

EPC Inc., a large information technology asset disposition (ITAD) provider based in St. Louis, has announced it is opening a new technology and redeployment center for used equipment in Saint Peters, Missouri.

The 47,000-square-foot facility will be located five miles from EPC’s corporate headquarters and is scheduled to open by the end of the first quarter of this year, expanding the company’s existing North American operations and extending its global footprint to 18 wholly owned processing facilities.

The technology center will feature EPC’s revamped redeployment system which, according to the company, will result in the ability to efficiently image and ship enterprise-level solutions worldwide. “As we continue to see supply chains hampered by the pandemic, especially for new technologies, we have listened to feedback from our customers who are looking for solutions to reuse their old equipment and participate further in the circular economy,” says EPC President Pat Laughlin. “We’re investing a significant amount of capital to help our customers meet their specific needs.”

EPC says its new facility plans to hire more than 60 employees, including up to 48 technicians.
