Electronicycle, Inc. relocated its headquarters to Gardner, Mass. The move will bring the company’s electronics reuse and recycling operations in Spencer and Auburn, Mass.; and Middlebury, Vt., under one roof.
The company officially opened the new location earlier this month.
The move was assisted through a competitive grant awarded by the Mass. Department of Environmental Protection. Under the DEP, the company received a “Recycling Industry Reimbursement Credit that provided $50,000 for plant expansion.
The new plant, it is hoped, will allow the company to increase the amount of material it handles to 6 million pounds this year.
The company also announced that was recently renewed as the official state contractor to the Massachusetts DEP.
