The North East Recycling Regional Electronics Recycling Conference will offer sessions covering electronics collection, recycling and recovery, and policy issues. The June 16 event has been organized by the Environmental Business Association of New York State Inc. (EBA-NYS).
The event takes place at the CUNY Graduate Center on Fifth Avenue in New York City, starting at 8:30 a.m. and concluding at 4:30 p.m.
The keynote opening speaker is Robert Lange, director of the New York City Department of Sanitation’s Bureau of Waste Prevention & Recycling.
Other speakers and panelists have been drawn from the U.S. EPA, Philips Electronics, Hewlett-Packard, and recycling firms such as Supreme Computer Recycling, Computer Recyclers of America, We Recycle, and Waste Management and Recycling Products Inc.
The event is being co-hosted by EBA/NYS and the New York State Association for Reduction, Reuse and Recycling Inc. (NYSAR3). More information can be found on the Web at www.eba-nys.org.
