The Eindhoven, Netherlands-based RECLAIM organization is hosting a workshop on the “Reclamation of Key Metals from Energy Efficient Lighting, Flat Panel Displays and Photovoltaic modules” in early June 2016 in Belgium.
The workshop will be held 2 June in Mechelen, Belgium, partly at a facility operated by electronics recycler Coolrec. The workshop will include a tour of the plant, which RECLAIM describes as a “pilot plant to recover indium and gallium from flat panel displays and CIGS PV (copper, indium, gallium, selenide photovoltaic) modules.”
Those interested in finding out more about the workshop or registering for it can go to this Dropbox web page.
The event’s organisers suggest potential attendees should register no later than 15 May 2016.
