
Electronics Recycling Asia, organized by the World Recycling Forum, will take place Nov. 13–16, 2012, in Guangzhou, China. The conference hotel is the Shangri-La Hotel Guangzhou.
The event is designed as a platform for professionals to exchange information and meet new business partners as well as prospective clients. Conference planners point out that attendees will have the opportunity to learn about upcoming Asian companies and witness the impact of Asia’s economy on the international recycling business.
For the conference, a variety of global recycling experts, including manufacturers, processors and policymakers, will meet to discuss recycling technologies, metal and scrap trading, electronics recycling, rare earth recovery, market information, regulations and the recycling of mercury-containing material.
The conference includes an opening ceremony with keynote speakers and a roundtable with industry leaders. Simultaneous translation into Chinese and English will be available.
Delegates also will have the opportunity to attend plant tours of manufacturing and recycling companies within the Guangdong province.
The conference also features an integrated exhibition area, along with a cocktail reception and networking dinner.
