Switzerland-based ICM AG has made a call for presentations at its 2016 Electronics & Cars Recycling Asia event, which will be 15-18 November at the Sheraton Grand Macao Hotel in Macao, China.
The organiser bills the event as “the international platform in Asia regarding discussions on the latest developments and challenges facing waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) worldwide.”
ICM says presentations on topics including innovative recycling technologies, regulations, manufacturing processes and the value of raw materials will be welcome at the event. Other topics that can be addressed in presentations include:
- tie-ins to the circular economy;
- electronics reuse and refurbishment;
- recycling of precious and strategic metals;
- nonmetallic material recycling;
- standards and compliance regulations;
- business opportunities and models in emerging markets; and
- the recycling of hazardous components such as batteries, lamps, LCDs and mercury.
Potential presenters interested in being part of the program in Macau can contact ICM, ideally before 31 March, by phone at +41-62-785-10-00 or via email at info@icm.ch.
