Addressing an audience of investors and financial analysts looking for specific insights into the biggest trends of emerging recycling-related industries, Shegerian stressed the mounting environmental problems caused by the glut of the nation’s e-waste and explained the long-range national and international potential of electronic recycling as a concept and as an industry.
The “Ready, Set, Recycle” Investor Conference is a new investors meeting designed by Canaccord Adams to offer investors an opportunity to learn about electronic recycling, green building, bioenergy and metal recycling from companies in the recycling sector. Shegerian and ERI presented as part of the “E-recycling: Capitalizing on the Discards of the Digital Age” panel discussion.
“It’s a great honor to have been asked to present at Canaccord Adams’ insightful ‘Ready, Set, Recycle” conference and to discuss the urgency of electronic waste before such an influential financial community audience,” says Shegerian. “Electronic waste is a growing problem that affects the environment and human health across the globe.”
