Intercon Solutions, an ISO14001 electronics recycler has completed the move to their new facility south of Chicago.
Intercon Solutions was at full capacity in their 125,000 square foot facility at in Chicago and knew they needed serious preparation for future growth.
Intercon will be keeping the facility open, where they will service specific clients in the Chicago land area.
All demanufacturing will be handled in their new, just under 300,000 square foot facility in Chicago Heights. The new facility is on 14.4 acres and puts Intercon in a position to not have to be concerned about moving any time soon.
Intercon Solutions specializes in the complete demanufacturing of any type of electronics.
"With our industry growing as fast as it is, this new facility was a must to handle electronics that need to be properly recycled" says Intercon recycling coordinator, Timothy Osgood.
