Clayton Ward Recycling, along with Recycle America’s Asset Recovery Group, is beginning a drop-off program for electronic scrap in Redding, Calif.
The Clayton Ward facility will offer drop-off services for a fee. Collected material will be shipped to Recycle America’s ARG in Phoenix, Ariz.
The material will be shipped to end markets in both North America, as well as throughout the world.
“We are proud to offer this cutting edge recycling service in our community,” said Sharon McRoberts, Clayton Ward office manager. “This program will help the City of Redding with its efforts to reach California’s mandated recycling goal of 50 percent.”
The Clayton Ward site is one of several Recycle America collection depots for electronic scrap in California. Up to five additional collection depots. A series of collection depots will be set-up in the next several months.
