Electronic Scrap Open House in N.C.

GEEP is showing off its Durham plant on Sept. 21.

Global Electric Electronic Processing Inc. (GEEP) is inviting select civic officials and members of the press to see its electronics recycling facility in Durham, N.C.

The new plant will be able to “process electronic waste, including monitors and televisions, converting these products back into useful commodities using the most advanced separation techniques,” according to the company.

An Open House event has been planned for Thursday, Sept. 21 at the facility, located in the Research Triangle Park area of North Carolina.

The afternoon event will include a ribbon cutting ceremony and speeches from GEEP officers who will provide information on the company’s current operations and future plans.
