Eldan Recycling A/S has launched its newest generation of dual drive cracker mills. The equipment will be manufactured at the company’s facility in Faaborg, Denmark.
According to a press release, the new cracker mills will be used in Eldan Powder lines to turn scrap tires into fine rubber powder with sizes as small as 200 mesh (70 microns).
Eldan notes that the cracker mill pedestals have been designed to provide weight and stability for ideal rubber powder production.
Eldan says the cracker mill features an improved electrical PLC control, including frequency controlled dual drive, which is prepared to run the complete powder line. The cracker mill is equipped with two heavy duty electrical motors. The electrical system is designed to regenerate large volumes of electrical power resulting in energy savings.
