EGA Spectro Alloys donates to 30 nonprofits, charitable initiatives

The recycling company’s “Giving Together” program supports local charities in Minnesota.

EGA Spectro Alloys, an aluminum recycling facility based in Rosemount, Minnesota, has announced $100,000 in donations to 30 nonprofits and charitable initiatives through its annual “Giving Together” program. 

Each holiday season, Spectro employees nominate organizations as recipients. The company says it prioritizes being a corporate neighbor and investing in organizations that create an impact. 

"'Giving Together’ is one of our favorite traditions at Spectro,” EGA Spectro Alloys President Luke Palen says. “Our employees care deeply about these causes, and we’re proud to support the organizations doing critical work in our community. On behalf of our entire team, congratulations to our beneficiary organizations, and thank you for the difference you make every day.” 

The 30 organizations receiving donations from EGA Spectro Alloys this holiday season are:

The company also announced the EGA Spectro Alloys Scholarship at Dakota County Technical College. The scholarship, an annual award for two students in the construction and manufacturing program, represents a $25,000 commitment over five years. Ten students will each receive a $2,500 scholarship through this initiative.
