The board of directors of Galion, Ohio-based E-Crane International USA (ECI-USA) unanimously has elected Steven M. Osborne as CEO effective June 24th, 2015. He succeeds his father and ECI-USA’s current President and CEO Mark W. Osborne, who has been successfully leading the company since it was founded in 1999. Mark will continue to serve the company as a member of the management team responsible for sales and marketing.
Lieven Bauwens, chairman of the board, says, “Steven has a thorough understanding of the needs of our customers and a clear vision on how to grow our business in the Americas. I know he will accomplish his goals in close cooperation with both the management team and all ECI-USA employees. I have no doubt that he is the right person to take the helm at ECI-USA. ”

Mark says, “I have always believed in him, so it was no surprise that the board of directors confirmed his talents. “I look forward to working with him in this new capacity in the years to come on behalf of the company I love.”
Steven says, “I am honored that the board of directors chose me to follow in the footsteps of my father, who has led ECI-USA for the past 16 years. I am also thrilled that I will have the ability to rely on my father’s counsel over the coming years as he is an exceptional executive, leader, role model and friend.”
Steven has a mechanical engineering degree from The Ohio State University and is a licensed professional engineer in the Ohio.
ECI-USA is wholly owned subsidiary of the E-Crane Group of Cos., based in Adegem, Belgium. ECI-USA is responsible for selling and servicing the E-Crane product line in North in South America. The company employs 29 people and has sales and engineering offices in Columbus, Ohio, a service center that opened August 2014 in Rockport, Texas.
