In terms of recycling, the event organizer says special attention will be dedicated to equipment and technologies for the selection and recovery of ferrous and nonferrous scrap and its preparation for sale, the treatment of special and hazardous waste and the recovery and treatment of WEEE (waste electrical and electronic equipment). At the show, plenty of space will be dedicated to major technological innovations, the latest new patents and products for solid and liquid waste collection and removal vehicles and vehicles for road and industrial cleaning and maintenance.
At Ecomondo/Key Energy, attendees will find a comprehensive range of technological solutions for the management and use of waste flows, focusing on efficient use of resources and secondary raw materials, innovative systems for recycling and exploiting all types of waste, advanced waste collection systems, wood, plastics and liquid waste, IEG says.
The exhibition will be supported by a calendar of events and workshops, among which is Municipal Waste Management in Urban Areas: Comparing International Experiences in the Perspective of Circular Economy, planned for the morning of Nov. 8. This annual meeting will review progress in municipal waste management and compare experiences in urban areas in different European countries. The goal is to analyze the results achieved in these urban frameworks in the light of different national contexts to find the best methodologies.
