The European Commission is seeking comments on Scholz AG and Alba AG & Co KG's acquisition of joint control of Elsa GmbH in the German steel sector.
Scholz is involved in trading ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal; Alba is in waste management, including steel; and Elsa wholesale and retail trade in scrap, the commission said
Interested third parties have 10 days in which to comment under EU merger rules for the steel sector, it said.
