EarthFirst Technologies, Inc. and Proveedor Especilzado en Productos Ecologios Reciciables International, LLC have signed a licensing agreement, giving PEPER the sole right to own EFTI tire recycling plants in Mexico.
This tire recycling technology allows solid waste (rubber tires shredded to one inch size) to be processed and reduced to carbon, oil, gas and steel; its original components.
This conversion of a waste product to make usable by-products was supported by propriety technology furnished through our subsidiary WESCO's relationship with Oak Ridge National Laboratories and scientists from the Newly Independent States of the former Soviet Union.
The typical plant consists of two modules processing 20 tons of tires per day for a daily total of 40 tons. Constructing the plant with two units allows planning to be optimized for maintenance and redundancy purposes. A typical plant is expected to generate $6-$9 million of annual revenue.
Through a contract with EFTI, Turner Industries and their subsidiary, Harmony Corporation, is completing engineering, fabrication, testing, installation, and operation of these plants.
