The U.S. Composting Council (USCC) is reminding potential attendees that the last day to receive an early registration discount for its 17th Annual Conference is Wednesday, Dec. 24.
The USCC’s 17th Annual Conference & Tradeshow is taking place Jan. 26-29 at the Westin Galleria hotel in Houston.
Conference highlights include more than 100 educational and technical presentations and workshops on composting, organics recycling, energy from organics, renewable energy, state composting regulations and other topics of interest to companies engaged in composting and recycling.
“This conference will give you a tremendous opportunity [to] learn how to optimize your operating efficiency, develop cost effective solutions, improve your programs and products, add to your bottom line and ensure your future business success,” says the USCC in a news release promoting the event.
The USCC is anticipating 1,000 or more attendees at the conference. The trade show portion of the event will feature more than 100 equipment vendors and service providers as well as more than 25 equipment demonstrations.
According to the USCC, its room block at the Westin Galleria has been sold out, but rooms are available at the conference rate at the nearby Westin Oaks.
More information on the event, including how to register, can be found on the Web at www.compostingcouncil.org/conference.
