Toronto-based Environmental 360 Solutions Inc. (E360S) has acquired Can Pak Environmental Inc., a central Alberta, Canada-based waste management firm that services residential, commercial and industrial customers in that province.
E360S was founded in 2017 and is led by waste industry veteran Danny Ardellini. It also is co-owned by private equity firm Almada Inc. and former hockey player Paul Coffey.
With the acquisition, E360S has close to 100 employees, more than 35 trucks and two recycling facilities. The company services more than 150,000 customers a week. Following the acquisition of Can Pak, E360S says it is considering further acquisitions to grow its operations.
“My family and the team at Can Pak are thrilled to be joining E360S and look forward to helping build the company,” says Mark Pedersen, former owner of Can Pak. “With the additional capital from E360S, we can realize our shared vision of providing safe, excellent customer service while protecting the environment of the communities we serve.”
Ardellini founded National Waste Services in 2000. That company merged with GFL Environmental 10 years ago, helping to create one of the largest waste management companies in Canada.
