Sunnking Inc., located in Brockport, NY, has been named one of the Hot 500 companies in a recent issue of Entrepreneur Magazine.
The company, since its inception in 2000, has focused on handling electronic scrap. Since its start, the company has grown from 2 employees to 50.
The Entrepreneur Hot 500 list was comprised in combination with Entrepreneur Magazine and Spencer Tracy Jr. founder of the Corporate Research Board, which culled company names from its database of essentially every business in America. Qualifying companies had to be in business for under 10 years with earnings of no more than $1 billion.
Sunnking Inc., which operates two shredders, handles all types of electronic equipment including computers, telecom, medical, and test equipment. While the company focuses on large businesses, it does offer residents of the county the opportunity to drop off electronics at its location by appointment.
