Cellpap BV, a company specializing in recycled paper and plastics, has opened a new office in North America. The company, headquartered in the Netherlands, opened its office last month in Bellingham, Wash., last month. The company had opened its first North American office in 2005 in Vancouver, Canada.
Cellpap says that the goal of the North American offices is meant to increase its focus on the U.S. market as a supply base for specialty paper and other recyclable grades. For paper, the company handles, pre-industrial, the following grades: tissue, SBS, pulp substitutes, polycup, and milk carton stock. For recovered rollstock, the company specializes in printing papers, packaging paper and linerboard. For the waste plastics, the company handles post-industrial polypropylene, polyethylene, and poly vinyl chloride.
In addition to North America, Cellpap has offices in the Netherlands and China. The company’s target areas include the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Europe.
The company also notes that it has an AQSIQ license for direct shipments to China.
