Duratek Services Inc., Oak Ridge, Tenn., is being awarded a $5,190,556 indefinite-delivery/requirements, firm-fixed-price and unpriced provisions contract for processing, recycling and disposal services by various methods in support of the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program.
This contract includes four one-year options, which if exercised, will bring the total estimated value of the contract to $27,983,818. Work will be performed in Oak Ridge, Tenn., and work is expected to be completed by March 2006.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. This requirement was issued on a sole source basis. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk, Naval Shipyard Maritime Industrial Branch is the contracting activity.
