DTG Recycle, based in Bothwell, Washington, has acquired Clayton-Ward Co., which has longstanding recycling centers in Kennewick and Richland in central Washington and Salem, Oregon.
According to a news release from DTG, Clayton-Ward provides recycling services for various materials, including paper, plastic, yard debris, metal and electronic material.
“We are thrilled to welcome Clayton-Ward to the DTG Recycle team,” says Tom Vaughn, DTG Recycle CEO. “This acquisition expands our reach into Oregon and solidifies our position in central Washington. We are excited to offer frictionless recycling services to our customers, making it easier for them to do their part in protecting the environment and helping them reach their sustainability goals.”
The purchase furthers DTG Recycle’s integration of the siloed environmental services industry to increase recycling efficiency through DTG’s extensive processing and logistics network. DTG will bring expanded recycling opportunities to Clayton-Ward’s customers by offering a wider variety of services, including mattress and styrofoam recycling and more extensive E-scrap recycling. DTG Recycle is committed to providing world-class service to Clayton-Ward customers and the Tri-Cities and Salem communities.
DTG Recycle says it welcomes Clayton-Ward employees and looks forward to offering new growth opportunities among its various divisions.
