DRI Energy Completes Installation at SA Recycling

Company completes its largest solar installation in Anaheim, Calif.

DRI Energy has officially commemorated the completion of its largest solar system in Anaheim, Calif., at the SA Recycling facility.

Installation of the City of Anaheim's largest solar system with 2,505 Suntech™ 200 watt modules, a Satcon™ inverter, and SEEDS monitoring system.
“We are very pleased with our choice to work with DRI Energy on this project. Their professionalism and expertise made this project a great experience,” says Terry Adams, executive vice president of SA Recycling. “They did an outstanding job, and we are very pleased with our system.”
The solar array is expected to produce more than 715,000 kilowatt hours per year, generating the equivalent amount of electricity to power 120 houses for a year and reduce CO2 emissions by more than 1 million pounds per year.
The project received support from the Anaheim Solar Advantage program, which is part of the California Solar Initiative.
Anaheim’s utility is providing an estimated $1.2 million performance incentive based on actual production of the solar system, which is to be paid out during the first five years of production.
