ISRI announces speakers for September Commodities Roundtable Forum.

The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries Inc. (ISRI) has announced the speaker roster for its annual Commodities Roundtable Forum, to be held Sept. 18-20 at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Rosemont, Ill.

 

This year’s forum includes roundtables on the ferrous, copper, aluminum and electronic scrap markets, featuring industry leaders and commodities experts discussing the chosen topics.

 

Ferrous Roundtable speakers include: Doug Kramer of Kramer Metals, Los Angeles; and Drew Luntz, of FPT-Cleveland. The panel’s moderator is Peter Kramer of The Greenfield Recycling Co. Inc., Greenfield, Mass.

 

Speakers for the Copper Roundtable include: Gerd Hoffman of Germany’s Norddeutsche Affinerie; John Mothersole of Global Insight, Waltham, Mass.; and Ray McGee, Ansonia Copper & Brass, Ansonia, Conn. The panel’s moderator is Michael Friedman, Scrap and Waste LLC, Louisville, Ky.

 

The Aluminum Roundtable speakers include: Joel Fink, Allied Metal Co., Chicago.; Blair Stewart, JW Aluminum, Charleston, S.C.; Mike Mahan, J.L. French Automotive Castings Inc., Novi, Mich.; and William Peluchiwski of Houlihan Lokey, Los Angeles. The panel’s moderator is Stephen Moss, Stanton A. Moss, Inc.

 

The program opens on Sept. 18 with the Electronics Roundtable, entitled “Maximizing Value and Profit for Recycled Electronics.” The Electronics Roundtable speakers include: Paul J. Healy of Xstrata Copper, Toronto; Steve Skurnac of Sims Recycling Solutions, San Jose, Calif.; and Ed Nardone of Amandi Services Inc., Hallstead, Pa. The panel’s moderator is Chris Ryan of Metech International, Worcester, Mass.

 

Also part of the event is the exhibit/networking lounge where participants can get details on the products and services of exhibiting companies.
