Diversified Plastics Inc. (DPI), a Latta, South Carolina-based rotational molder, has acquired Concept Plastics Co., a custom rotomolder based in Georgia. DPI says this expansion allows it to develop its manufacturing capabilities and reinforce its commitment to providing a broader range of plastic material handling products to its customer base.
“We are very excited about the addition of Concept Plastics Co.,” DPI CEO Tommy Wallace says. “This acquisition enhances our abilities to serve niche markets that require custom rotomolded products.”
DPI continues to grow with more than 25 plastic product lines in its current inventory, ranging from material handling carts to commercial waste containers. This phase will be led by Scott Oaks, president of DPI’s Georgia manufacturing facility.
