DP Electronic Recycling, Elkhorn, Wis., is the recipient of a BizTimes I.Q. (Innovation Quotient) Award from BizTimes Media LLC, Milwaukee. The award was given out during the BizExpo conference, a business-to-business conference in Wisconsin.
The I.Q. Awards recognize businesses in southeastern Wisconsin for their product and service innovations. DP Electronic Recycling was recognized with the I.Q. Award for its patent-pending process that recycles cathode ray tube (CRT) glass into ceramic-based products that are functional and environmentally safe.
According to Dale Helgeson, president and CEO of DP Electronic Recycling, the company prides itself on creating solutions for problems that other recyclers do not want to take on.
“DP is very proud of receiving the I.Q. award to become not only a certified recycler, but an ‘Award Winning Recycler,’” Helgeson says.
DP Electronic Recycling is an e-Stewards certified recycler.
