Dover Corp., New York City, has announced that its Industrial Products segment has formed the Environmental Solutions Group (ESG). The newly formed ESG combines three companies within Dover’s Industrial Products' current business portfolio – Heil Environmental, Marathon Equipment Co. and Bayne Machine Works – to create a leading fully integrated equipment group serving the solid waste management industry, the company says.
The product brands brought together under the new group include Heil, a manufacturer of refuse collection vehicles; Ramjet – the U.S. brand of waste processing compactors and balers; NexGen – a new line of recycling equipment solutions; and Bayne, which produces lift systems. Combining the operations will enable ESG to offer a comprehensive selection of waste management equipment solutions and services to the solid waste management industry.
ESG will be headquartered in Chattanooga, Tenn., with manufacturing locations in Ft. Payne and Vernon Ala.; Yerington, Nev.; Greenville, S.C. and Hillend, Scotland.
"Formation of the new Environmental Solutions Group brings together three companies with complementary businesses, products, technology, markets and customers," says Tom Giacomini, CEO of Dover Industrial Products. "The compelling value proposition ESG offers is through its extensive in-house engineering and manufacturing capability, wide-reaching service network and industry expertise to drive customer value. ESG is focused on solving customer needs and problems through environmentally responsible products and is uniquely positioned to compete effectively in the global marketplace providing comprehensive product and service offerings to our multi-national and regional customers."
Patrick Carroll has been named president of the group.
