Document destruction companies in the United States, the UK, Canada and Germany will be holding a joint conference and summit meeting Nov. 12-13 at the Hilton Hotel at Heathrow Airport in the UK. The meeting is being called the World Shred Summit and EXPO.
The public portion of the conference will include a full day of planning sessions and a trade exposition. Among the groups being represented at the two-day meeting include the National Association for Information Destruction, based in the United States, the United Kingdom Security Shredding Association, the Information Destruction Sector of the British Security Industry Association, and a group of shredding firms located in Germany.
Prior to the conference, the leaders of each of the groups will hold a day-long summit meeting to discuss how they will coordinate a unified message for the industry.
The World Shred EXPO will feature the latest stationary and mobile shredding equipment, baling equipment, security collection console manufacturers, and wheeled-cart makers.
