Rotational molder Diversified Plastics Inc. (DPI), headquartered in Latta, South Carolina, has added a new manufacturing facility in Social Circle, Georgia, to replace its former Union Point, Georgia, facility.
The new manufacturing facility will help the company to produce more of its industrial plastic material handling products. The location has two buildings consisting of more than 50,000 square feet of manufacturing space on more than 17 acres. DPI says the space will accommodate its future growth plans.
Tommy Wallace, president of DPI, says, “This large-scale facility will give us the needed capacity to produce our line of front-end load dumpsters, material handling carts and our new line of dock floats for the marine industry. The new location will also help us to handle the large demand for custom rotational molding for products.”
Since 1976, DPI has been the leading rotational molding manufacturer of custom and standard plastic material handling carts and storage containers. The company specializes in material handling carts for the industrial, textile, hospitality, laundry, agricultural and marine industries, plus waste and recycling plastic containers for restaurants, sports venues and stadiums, apartment and condominium complexes, plus corporate offices.
In addition to providing custom material handling solutions and waste containers, DPI’s product assortment includes bulk material handling carts, plastic utility carts, laundry carts, bulk containers, tote boxes, round containers, spring platform trucks, elevated carts, easy access carts, tilt trucks, spa and boat steps and more.
