Diversified Plastics Inc., a manufacturer of material handling containers and carts, has announced plans to expand its current manufacturing facility in Latta, S.C. The $2.5 million investment is expected to generate 15 new jobs.
“We are excited to move forward with plans to expand our facility in Latta,” says Tommy Wallace, CEO of Diversified Plastics. “Demand for our products continues to grow, and this expansion will allow us to increase our market share. Dillon County and South Carolina have always provided us with an excellent business climate and skilled workforce and we greatly appreciate all the support we’ve received from state and local officials.”
Diversified Plastics has upgraded its rotational molding facility throughout the past couple of years and plans to further expand its operations. The expansion will allow Diversified Plastics to increase the capacity of its facilities and will involve adding new tooling for an additional product line.
